Digipak-Ideas

I have already done an example of a cover that we are not going to use but was a good insight to some ideas. We won't use that picture because it was too big and the writing looked out of place over my face.

Definition: Digipak is a patented style of compact disc or DVD packaging.

Other ideas for front cover:

This would be a great idea to use this kind of cover, it shows the many faces of Edie.

I love this photo of Edie! It shows her happy but at the same time, killing herself slowly, which explains her very well.

Ideas for inside the pack:

As Bob Dylan was an singer, he had his own albums. This is very useful because we can get some ideas to his taste and apply it too our digipak to make it look as though it is really his. He has some simple pictures but made them abstract, this will be fun because we can experiment with the pack in so many ways.

I like this idea also because it is in the same style as some of Edies photos and it shows his emotions well.

Me and Shelley both like this picture as it shows his passion for music but also the pain he has for losing Edie. Its simple but great!




For the middle panel we could use the a love triangle shot like this:

The final panel should be Andy Warhol. There arn't many photos of him to immitate but this photo is great to copy anyway!
