Editing

Our editing was quite stressfull today but we over come our main problem of not having enough footage. I worked out how to copy some clips we had already used and reversed them. It works well because it represents her life going from up to down. We used the effect on a clip where Andy places his hand on Edie's so his had was actually retreating, showing his loss of affection for her.

We also found some shots we hadn't used yet and with our new reverse effect we turn a zoom out to a zoom in which focuses on Edie's happy face, finishing the shot with her love filled eyes.

Editing

After waiting a long time for our computer (it was taken) we continued to edit. Were getting on very well with the video but it is very frustrating adding transistions as it throws everything out of sync. We also seem to be running out of footage. We still have lots of shots we havn't used, except they are pretty much the same shot filmed several times. I'm getting very worried about this but as time goes on, we will see if we have enough.

Editing

Yesterday we edited some more of our video, only to realise after we had most of it perfect, we didn't have any transitions. This threw us off alot because we then had to go back and add the transitions which then threw our lip-syncing off so we had to cut and extend some clips. This took us a couple of hours to edit the bits we have already done, so although it looks better, we havn't complete much of the video. This is abit worrying, but now I only have 1 more exam left which is tomorrow's media lesson, this means next week we can spend alot more time after school editing as Shelley will not edit it on her own as she doesn't like using the computer very much. We find it very hard to make time to edit as I'm from another school so I'm not always at Robert Clack, and by the time I get there after school, it's closing the computer suit. Hopefully now though we can get alot more done.

Editing

Today we imported the footage we done over the holidays. Some of it is going to work really well, but other parts have a few minor flaws (such as wobberly camera shots) which means we can't use it. However the bits we can use fit perfectly. I added some more clips until imovie decided to randomly go off the screen without us saving it. I found the footage we imported but unfortunatly had to cut the bits down again to put back into our video. This was very annoying but now we know we really do need to save it more often.

Delay

Due to exams, we have been unable to upload our footage. Hopefully next week during a lesson we can have some time to upload our footage as we don't have much time after school at the moment.

Filming

Finally we got some filming complete!! Jack once again played Bob and I as Edie. We filmed some shots showing the intimacy between the two lovers in the bedroom and then the connection that still remains outside.

Half way threw filming Jack had to pop out but me and Shelley stayed at mine and experimented with the camera alot more trying out some pan shots.

During the filming we also took some still shots using my camera that we may use. They are not uploaded onto my computer yet as it is broken and I am using somebody elses but I will put them up here ASAP.
