Editing

Today we uploaded our footage of Jack and began to match it to our music. SUCCESS!! The lip syncing is brillient and the guitar shots are in time! I played around with the effects and he looks even more like Bob Dylan! I changed the contrast and brightness and then added an effect called colour TV. It looks amazing and Shelley agreed to use it! We still have more footage to add to it but were making good progress. Unfortunatly we was doing it after school and got told to leave so we couldn't do alot but we are so happy it's coming together alot better!

Vlog

AHH OUR VOICES!! THEY ARE STILL DEEP!! Me and Shelley have tried to work out what is wrong but we can't find a cause for it! Please excuse our "monster" voices!

Filming Bob

Today I filmed Jack Outtrim lip syncing. He is playing Bob Dylan. I borrowed a guitar from my friend Tom and got some shots with him playing it. It was very difficult to get the timeing of the guitar the same as the song as he doesn't play it. Looking back on the footage however, it looks better than I thought and we should be able to use the shots. The lip syncing went really well and should fit really well with Gary's song. He really suits the part as Bob Dylan especially with glasses on, which Bob wore when he sang. I didn't have many problems whilst filming alone. We only had to redo some parts because Jack forgot the words sometimes but other than that it was easy!

Editing

Today we began to edit but had to stop due to not having the right footage for a specific part of the song. We went and had something to eat and decided to redo our Vlog, because of the issue we had before with the voices. Shelley asked me questions and i answered them. We tried to keep it casual because otherwise we get embarrassed and forget what to say so this way it was alot simpler.

Uploading footage

Uh Oh! We uploaded our footage today and for some reason our voices have gone really deep. I'm hoping it is just a setting on the PC that can be changed. Although it doesn't affect our music video, our video blog sounds really silly. As we done it after school, there wasn't anybody around to help us but hopefully we can get it sorted next week.

Filming

We have an Andy Warhol! Our friend Jack Stone helped us with some filming today and played the role of Andy.

We started off filming me (playing Edie Sedgwick) trying on shoes in Debenhams. For these shots we had Jack film as we could see his reflection in the mirror so it looked like a home video. This was good because we didnt need to set up a tripod to keep it steady. We then moved on trying on hats and holding up clothes.

Moving out of the shop we went into Costca, the coffee shop. We had done a few shot but then our camera decided to die on us. BUT, luckily Jack had his camera with him so we borrowed his. Half way threw filming in Costca, me and jack went outside the shop and Shelley filmed us outside the window with an umberella as it was raining.

Now all we need to film is my boyfriend Jack Outtrim, playing Bob Dylan, lip syncing!
